If your gorgeous scalp has become dull and thin and your skin is itchy and flaky, it’s time to take a look at your scalp – you might be the target of a fungal scalp. It might be worth taking advantage of

Diseases caused by fungal bacteria have been known to medicine for a long time, but alas, it is impossible to prevent their spread. Despite significant technological progress, not only have fungi not fallen into oblivion, but they have multiplied rapidly in the face of deteriorating ecology and active urbanization. Today there is evidence of more than a million and a half types of infections caused by fungi.

The causative agents of the pathological process on the scalp are yeast fungi Pityrosporumovale – the natural components of the microflora of the skin in a healthy person. Systemic disorders in the body can cause excessive growth of fungal bacteria, which, in turn, leads to the development of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.

Symptoms of scalp fungus
Dryness and redness of the skin, intense itching, the appearance of small round plaques of pinkish color, abundant dandruff in the form of keratinized flakes of whitish or grayish color.
Painful appearance of hair – thinning, dryness, split ends, and hair shaft brittleness along its entire length. Partial or complete hair loss may be observed in the foci of lesions.
Increased intensity of sebum activity, hair quickly loses freshness and becomes greasy at the roots within a few hours after washing.
In severe forms of fungal lesions, purulent inflammation may occur due to clogged sebaceous ducts.
If left untreated, Pityrosporumovale bacteria multiply uncontrollably and the skin of the face and neck can be affected.
